Why We Remember
On the morning of October 7, 2023, the world changed.
Thousands of innocent Israelis awoke to sirens, gunfire, and unthinkable terror. What began as a peaceful holiday weekend turned into the deadliest day for Jewish people since the Holocaust. More than 1,200 people were murdered. Families were torn apart. Hostages were taken into Gaza—many of whom are still held captive to this day.
Two years later, we refuse to forget.
We invite you to join us for Remembering October 7—a solemn and heartfelt memorial gathering sponsored by Chosen People Ministries and the Coalition Against Antisemitism. This evening is a call to remember the lives lost, to honor the resilience of the Jewish people, and to respond in prayer, solidarity, and action as antisemitism continues to rise.
What to Expect
This intimate gathering will include:
- screening of the Remembering October 7 video
- reading the names of those still held hostage in Gaza
- messages of comfort and hope for Israel
- call to action to stand against antisemitism
- reception with time to connect and reflect
